RVing Life: Monday - Day 309 - so .... close?
http://rvinglife.blogspot.com/2014/01/monday-day-309-so-close.html
Wednesday, January 8, 2014. Monday - Day 309 - so . close? We were very close to closing today at 3pm. But, due to the strict banking regulations required these days, our close was delayed a day. We were held in limbo on the exact time/day of our house closing until the last hour. Ultimately, we were told noon on Tuesday. Our movers would be coming regardless of any ink on paper. Would this life fade to black, never to be known again? How will it impact my life, my husband's and my boys lives? Monday - D...

RVing Life: Thursday - Day 305 - dust to dust
http://rvinglife.blogspot.com/2014/01/thursday-day-305-dust-to-dust.html
Sunday, January 5, 2014. Thursday - Day 305 - dust to dust. Spending time visiting my mom in rehab, which is also a nursing home, is both a humbling and profound experience. On Christmas Day and the day after I attended 'events' with my mom to get her out of her room. The first day their was entertainment for the seniors, comparable to ' The. And he was worth the journey out of my mother's modest room. Ty sitting between me and his grandma. Was she now one of them? The next day (today) we attended a tota...

RVing Life: April 2013

Tuesday, April 30, 2013. Monday - Day 64 - Hail, Hail, The Beast is Gone! We officially sold "The Beast" today, to the nice family who came by this weekend to see it. Emilee had come by with her two children and another couple on Friday. The kids had fun and played with bugs while the adults inspected the camper from top to bottom. Our husbands had spoken over the phone many times and both were on the same page regarding full disclosure regarding any previous issues with the camper. Emilee and I mana...

RVing Life: November 2013
http://rvinglife.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
Saturday, November 30, 2013. Sunday - Day 273 - Chuck E. Cheese. Chuck E. Cheese may be a parent's nightmare, tons of chaotic children running around, being loud. This is probably why they serve beer. When it comes to our kids we do almost anything to keep them happy and to put a smile on their face. Although, I waited three years to have another Chuck E. Cheese birthday party for James, this year I finally gave in to his pleas. Lots of party for nominal dollars and the party keeps on going and going.

RVing Life: May 2013
http://rvinglife.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
Friday, May 31, 2013. Wednesday - Day 94 - Strange Kids. What do you do when a strange little boy wants to play with your son? You don't want to be mean and tell the kid to go away, but you also don't want the kid to influence your own child either. This evening we talked to James about the boy and our concerns. Interestingly, I think James felt exactly the same. He actually admitted this to us, "That boy annoyed my ass! Tuesday - Day 93 - Social Peacock. My husband, the social peacock that he is, does a...

RVing Life: July 2013
http://rvinglife.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
Wednesday, July 31, 2013. Friday - Day 152 - A Zion Hike. We hiked Zion National Park. Today It was just enough to give us a little taste of what was to come. Enthusiastic teenagers ;). We hiked about two miles with only a few complaints from the teenagers. It was pretty and well worth the huffing and puffing at the end. I didn't develop any revelations about hiking or being one with nature, but it felt good and after being on vacation for a week overeating, I embraced the much needed exercise. If anyone...

RVing Life: September 2013
http://rvinglife.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
Monday, September 30, 2013. Thursday - Day 214 - TopTen. Most unusual things I have witnessed while camping. 7 Ladders on TOP of RVs. 6 Rivers Emerging out of nowhere. Massive amounts of Frogs. Santa look a likes. A camper van full of dog kennels. The camper full of dog kennels made it to my top ten list today. I thought it odd when the owners spent a day cleaning and unloading trash from their large white van, (I could see them from my window). Truth is always stranger then fiction. During my short time...

RVing Life: Sunday - Day 308 - That Happy Place
http://rvinglife.blogspot.com/2014/01/sunday-day-308-cardboard-box-living.html
Tuesday, January 7, 2014. Sunday - Day 308 - That Happy Place. We finally arrived home to our campground oasis and appreciated the fact that we were finally home. In our own bed, and our own space. Isn't that what home is all about? The place you feel most comfortable in? You enjoy it and lavish in it and can be 100% yourself. My NYC studio apartment. Living Room and Bedroom! To be totally candid, my last couple of days did not feel particular special, but my overall life experience was more significant ...

RVing Life: December 2013
http://rvinglife.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 31, 2013. Sunday - Day 301 - it sucks you in. There is something about arriving and spending time at our North Georgia cabin that simply sucks you in. I'm not quite sure if it is the exceptionally nice people who live there, the rural, rustic surroundings or the beautiful scenery that brings peace within. It is the perfect storm of natural harmony, a true love of all that is one. I have this crazy impulse to offer our cabin out and share all the things that make it so special. Three Hun...
