Aussiehalley - Halley Down Under: I like the part where the Next Top Model calls the Australians a race
http://aussiehalley.blogspot.com/2007/09/i-like-part-where-next-top-model-calls.html
Aussiehalley - Halley Down Under. Sunday, September 23, 2007. I like the part where the Next Top Model calls the Australians a race. Oh honey, no. (link to Adrianne Curry on Perez). It's like she thought out the very beginning of the idea (good, yes, "separate but equal" is bad) and then forgot to follow through with the rest of her argument wherein she would've found the parts that make her just ignorant and simple. I believe the colloquial term is 'moron,' no? Somebody get me a TimTam. I am won over wi...

Aussiehalley - Halley Down Under. Friday, July 03, 2009. Http:/ halleycohen.blogspot.com. Posted by Halley @ 1:11 AM. Easy to find the new one now! I always had trouble distinguishing between what happened and what merely might have happened, but I remain unconvinced that the distinction, for my purposes, matters." -Joan Didion. Washington, D.C. Aussiehalley - Halley Down Under: Jon Stewart on Michael Vick
http://aussiehalley.blogspot.com/2007/08/jon-stewart-on-michael-vick.html
Aussiehalley - Halley Down Under. Monday, August 20, 2007. Jon Stewart on Michael Vick. Jon Stewart on Michael Vick, with Vick saying he'll be vindicated when he can tell his side of the story, how he'll be vindicated. Turns out, he did it. And now he's going to jail. Michael Vick, who had dogs fight each other, pit bulls fight each other to the death, just for his own amusement? Little does he know the prison he's going to." *. How awesome is Jon Stewart? Aussiehalley - Halley Down Under: Old Mother Hubbard
http://aussiehalley.blogspot.com/2007/08/old-mother-hubbard.html
Aussiehalley - Halley Down Under. Thursday, August 30, 2007. The contents of my fridge:. 2) 1/4 carton of almond milk. 3) 4 slices of Ezekiel bread. 4) half tub of vanilla yogurt. These are not the makings of a fabulous meal. Dinner tonight was the end of a green pepper and a bag of microwave popcorn. Actually, it was fairly satisfying; I'm a cheap date. Still, I think I may end up grocery shopping this weekend. Or else, dinner tomorrow will be interesting. Posted by Halley @ 9:21 PM. Washington, D.C.

Aussiehalley - Halley Down Under: Of Katharines and Kings
http://aussiehalley.blogspot.com/2007/08/of-katharines-and-kings.html
Aussiehalley - Halley Down Under. Friday, August 10, 2007. Of Katharines and Kings. Maybe it's because his name rhymes with "Melvis." Maybe it's because he's slimy. And creepy. Maybe it's because we still talk about him in the present tense. But I get a great deal of joy from the fact that the recent Elvis film marathon on some cable channel was sponsored by Poise pads. Not by Mustang. Not even by a fast-food burger place. But by a bladder-weakness pad. He's got a knife! Posted by Halley @ 10:28 PM.

Teaching elementary school in the private sector. Everyday is a new adventure. Sunday, June 04, 2006. Oh those pencils. . . This week I took a moment to ponder the importance of pencils in my daily life. It is amazing how much of my time is devoted to discussing the quality, color, effectiveness and size of pencils. Here are just a few examples of pencil talk at work:. 8220;Ms. Teacher, I don’t have a pencil” Where do they always disappear to? They just sit there, forgotten, until we clean them out and t...

I just corrected the Beginning of the Year English Test that I give for evaluation purposes. This is the first year I have had to bring them home, but I was never going to have time to grade all of them at work. I have a feeling this may be a trend. Oh well. 1 My mom put me in violine becase she wants me to be in a orcastra. 6 I like to slepe. 9 I hate cleaning my room. At recess ...
