I design my jewelry and I personally make each item in my studio. My designs are influenced by forms I see in nature and by the simple lines and elegant proportions of traditional design motifs from Japan and China. I am inspired by the fabrication process as I form, forge, mill, braise, and polish the sterling silver. On some designs I add color with unique stones or with the brilliance of enamels that I fire in my kiln. As each stone is one-of-a-kind, so is each jewelry setting.
