Monday, March 5, 2012. St Patrick's Day Parade Moleskine Sketches. The Staten Island St. Patrick's Day parade was held on Sunday and while it's a hectic day for me, I brought along something to sketch with. It's crowded and I need to be on the move so I kept the equipment to what could be carried in my pocket; my 5x8 Moleskine sketchbook and a handful of pencils. Nomatic Flap Pencil Case. E M Workman Pocket Clutch. Lamy Scribble 0.7mm. Posted by Tom Lynch. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). MOLESKINE sketchbook...

Blog in Evolution: Invertebrate Anatomy
http://blog-in-evolution.blogspot.com/2011/07/invertebrate-anatomy.html
Sunday, July 10, 2011. E used to have courses like that back in pre-med. It involves studying snails, slugs, and other lower life forms - not the most fascinating topic in the world. However, I encounter it with much more interest nowadays. One of my more worthwhile impulse buys was an order for ornamental aquarium shrimps. Yup, that's right, you can buy pretty much anything you want on the net nowadays. They're fun critters - one of my best investments ever! Sunday, July 10, 2011. The art of resistance.

Blog in Evolution: Update on Basil Cuttings
http://blog-in-evolution.blogspot.com/2011/06/update-on-basil-cuttings.html
Sunday, June 19, 2011. Update on Basil Cuttings. I haven't done much gardening lately, on account of a little health snag. Most of my green work happened inside the house. These are the cuttings that I left out to root 5 days ago. Bringing Fresh Herbs in the Kitchen. Basil is something I must have perennially - and I'm thankful that we are in an area where spring is eternal. Ok, a bit of an exaggeration - but we can grow these things year-round, even in scorching summer - and that's good enough for me.

To fish or to Paint That is the Question. March 25, 2015 @ 7:51 am. 183; { Anything and Everything Else. The air is full of happy cackles as bodies shuffle their feet away from the local bookstores, turning them, instead, toward blooming gardening shops and DIY stores. Especially the DIY stores! Strange how the lovely pristine paint job from last year is suddenly seen as having gray sanitarium undertones? Yuck and where’s the paint can? Plus it’s a busy MHP. Imagine all the. Travels in a borderless world. Monday, July 12, 2010. I "un-friended" someone today. That's such an unwieldy - yet very precise (in this age of social networking) term. Posted by The Gravelcat. Monday, July 5, 2010. Chito and John mentioned checking the space between the tines, and the space between the nib and the feed. We discussed flossing the tines and soaking in an ammonia solution, what we normally do with our other pens. The discussion got really geeky, which I enjoyed a lot. I decided...My papers...
