I am a PA girl, turning into a South Carolina Girl. I love coconut cake, doughnuts, coffee on the porch rocking chair and still hate sweet tea. Saturdays in the fall are made for football games. A house should always have sweets in the oven. Sweatpants can be considered black tie. Sunshine always makes me feel better. Love-ies can fix any problem. So can mint chocolate chip ice cream. Saturday, June 29, 2013. OWNCloset: 21 Things I have learned. I have gone 363 days with out shopping! Some people think I am absolutely nuts for giving myself a personal challenge like this, they are in disbelief that I would volunteer for this, and they can't imagine not having new clothes! But during the year, I learned somethings about myself, my closet, and what is actually like to NEED something! Things I have learned. 1 I wear the same 4-5 tops each season. I would just go to the mall to kill time!

Thursday, May 16, 2013. After a great day at the aquarium, we started to walk through the park in search of the fountains! Everyone kept stressing, 'lets take Anna to the fountains' but actually, they need to get ME and MARC to the fountains! OWN Closet was an idea that started during my recent move and I was packing all of my belongings. It seemed I packed and packed my clothes, and I just kept folding! Even after three trips to Good Will to donate clothes, shoes, and accessories I still had TOO much. I decided to challenge myself to not buy any new clothing from July 1st 2012 until July 1st 2013! Sunday, February 28, 2010. The husband of a lady I work with took newborn pictures of Andrew. He was not on his best behavior that evening as he peed on every sheet and was extremely squirmy. Thursday, December 16, 2010. Our Thanksgiving was spent with me having being able to have off work! It saved me tons of sleep so I had even more energy to out Black Friday shopping! My parents came up from NC for a few days and stayed with us. From there, we hung out and made our journey to relative's homes for a wonderful dinner. I had such a great time and I am so thankful to Varsity and SOA for providing me with the opportunity to work this trip. I do not think I can put into words how much fun I had and the many amazing new memories I made of the past week! I would not trade anything that happened in the past week for anything!
