http://iheartmanhattan.blogspot.com/2006_07_01_archive.html
I love new york. Saturday, July 22, 2006. Umm heheh. cool. Well, I had planned on a big ol' post to show you all the fun things I've been up to, like going to this cool underground art show with some girls from work. And going to my roommates' wedding with Kerri. And eating the most amazing gelato this side of the Atlantic Ocean (these were cayenne gelato and lime/mint sorbet). But I have been recently, some might say suddenly, informed that I get to go to L.A. with one of our editors for a week! We stop...

I decided to go to the used bookstore and pick up a new Tom Robbins novel (well, new to me. I just finished. I exited the building and made my way toward the subway, but stopped in my tracks. What am I doing? I even saw a pair of hula-hoopsters at Madison Square Park. Posted by jenna at 2:25 PM. Monday, April 24, 2006. I was ...

But here's something to tide you over. The Valley of the Sun:. Posted by jenna at 10:21 PM. Wednesday, December 21, 2005. Friday night, all was well. The MTA hadn't gone on strike (yet), I delivered the package, and the workday was unusually lax. We wrapped it up with some Secret Santa. Posted by jenna at 12:12 PM.

I love new york. Wednesday, May 24, 2006. Hair, hair and more (or less) hair. It's true, everyone. My boyfriend competed in the New York Beard and Mustache Competition. Shannon and I went to support him, and as we approached the Knitting Factory venue, each of us thought, I hope we're in the right place. Then we saw this man and knew we were okay. Here he is from the front. Good ol' Heinz from Germany, worldwide winner for the last 6 years. The event was actually sold out! The place was so ambient. Next ...

I love new york. Wednesday, August 30, 2006. Last week Dustin took me to a (soft) rock show in Brooklyn, to see the Shins. On the way we stopped at a teeny pizza joint and I made the mistake of using their bathroom. It was downright appetizing. I don't even know which way this photo is supposed to go. The Shins played a nice set, pleasant, just good for a chill night out during the workweek. Then, on Saturday, the girls and I spent some time catching up. It was precious. Posted by jenna at 7:06 PM. We sa...
