MyLoveForCooking Turns 2!! — My Love For Cooking
http://myloveforcooking.com/blog/myloveforcooking-turns-2
My Love For Cooking. Sauces & Marinades. September 5, 2013. I am so very filled with love and gratitude I think I may burst! When I first started this little blog I was just mostly doing it for a few friends who were following my FB album and myself. I remember literally having no clue of what I was doing or how to be successful in the blogging world. I was lucky enough to meet some very generous and warm fellow bloggers who embraced me into their circles and taught me along the way. Jen @ Savory Simple.

My Love For Cooking. Sauces & Marinades. Food Drunk in the City. October 13, 2013. This is shamefully late and I apologize. Things here have been an absolute whirlwind. Fortunately it has been a flurry of very good things. As some of you know our little Blueberry girl started Kindergarten at the end of August. Right before that happened I got the news I have been waiting a year for, I found a position as a Mental Health Clinician! Little cuties. They seemed to be a big hit. We decided to go to Koreatown ...

It’s really, really great when you have thoughtful friends who know you well enough to buy you gifts of gin. Those are the kinds of friends that you hold onto for dear life because a friend who knows your favorite spirit is a special friend, indeed. My dear friend Lori Rice of Fake Food Free. Is just that kind of thoughtful friend! Gin as a wedding gift! I have made this drink with Hendrick’s ...

Weird Shoes | Salty Sweet Life

Published on January 12, 2015. Written by Salty Sweet Life. Before I left on my last trip to Oregon, I stopped into REI. These shoes are not Las Vegas shoes. Las Vegas ladies will wear six-inch stilettos to the grocery store, no joke. But in Portland weird shoes are everywhere! All around me were my weird shoe Kinfolk. Uncomfortable as the shoes were, I wore them like a banner. I even wore them with weird socks. I let my weird shoe flag fly. One of the books I grabbed that rainy day in Portland was Shake.

Published on March 24, 2015. Tagliatelle with Caramelized Orange and Almonds, plus Seared Duck Breast. Written by Salty Sweet Life. I’m beginning to think that there’s some literal truth to this March Madness thing. After a month of family bulls%&t, food failures, photography failures and fights with The Husband I’m really ready to throw in the towel on the month of March. And to think, the month started with so much promise! This recipe is probably the one good thing that came out of this lousy month.

I live in the desert, where we get less than 4 inches of rain per year, so anytime it rains it feels like an event. When the forecast calls for rain, I immediately go through the five stages of a desert dweller:. First, there’s Doubt. I simply cannot believe that it’s going to rain any time soon because the sky is blue right over my house and it is sunny. 8221; “No? 8221; I check Facebook...

Vibrant Chili-Rubbed Salmon Bowls
http://www.inspirededibles.ca/2015/03/vibrant-chili-rubbed-salmon-bowls.html
Real food, balanced living. Vibrant Chili-Rubbed Salmon Bowls. March 5, 2015. March has finally arrived and I know that comes as a great relief to many. Spring buds, longer sunlit days and warmer temperatures on the way to caress those weary winter bones (and not a moment too soon if I’m reading the collective temperament right). I know how it works but it still manages to make me sad. To everything, turn, turn, turn, there is a season…. Soft succulent salmon morsels enrobed in a crispy delicious chili-o...
