Saturday, 17 March 2012. I've got back into knitting! It all started in December when Grace asked me to knit her a Weasley jumper for Christmas. One niece saw it and wanted one then another! Though made a few adjustments to make it work for me. Used Aran wool and 5mm needles throughout. Letter from font with serif and transposed onto grid. Each letter about a third the size of the front. Thursday, 4 November 2010. My niece - from pic to stencil to chart. and eventually to finished piece - approx 5 weeks! 3 cross stitch grid. 4 mounted and framed 11x14. Monday, 1 November 2010. Completed Nov 2009 (approx 10 weeks work). I did try to get permission to be able to do these commercially but Banksy's agent said no! So they sit on my lounge wall - I enjoy them! Tuesday, 21 December 2010. VW camper vans seem to be quite popular at the moment - my niece is in to them - so I thought this might be a good idea. It was quite hard to get the sizing right - and ended up doing this single threaded on size 22 fabric - too fine! Framed size 10" x 10". Enjoy doing this one - very quick and very effective.
