Aug 23, 2010. Michael will be starting Kindergarten in a couple weeks and he couldn't be more excited! He'll be taking the bus to and from which just adds to his joy! I'm so anxious for my lil' guy to experience learning and fun at school. I have my LONG list of concerns too, but like our Father above knew, I too know he has to experience these things for himself. Alaina will be 2 next week! My baby is no longer a baby! She's got a phrase or face or gesture for every occasion. Love that girl.

Feb 11, 2011. Seattle to Portland 2011. Yes, the Crosby family is homeschooling! Just finishing week 2 and loving it! It was a decision based on what more we could offer our kids by them staying home to learn, not because of any anti-public school thing. We really do believe the school system does the very best it can with what it is given. But we are pro-education in a more controlled and involved way now. It's an adventure and I'm sure I'll have some real doozy stories later :). Today I Am Grateful For.

Nov 5, 2009. Alaina Crosby hanging out with her peeps. I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm definitely a fan of this group! Lizzie's First Hair Cut. I loved Lizzie's long locks, but she's pretty stubborn about me doing much with it. So it was hair wacking time! Here's her before pic. And here's the after. It's super cute now. Makes her look older I think. I cut it so it folds under naturally so now we match :) Gotta love that. Alaina Bumble Bee, Lizzie Kitty, and Michael Bumble Bee Transformer.

Mar 28, 2010. When I look at these pics of Alaina. Baby I can't help but smile and sigh. (This last one looks like she's caught a bug in her mouth.) I think I've got baby fever again. I've been thinking about another lil. One coming to our family with fondness the last couple of weeks and I talked to Brian about starting to try for another one at the end of summer, when Alaina. May 18, 2010. I haven't posted much lately cuz yet another camera went the way of all the cameras (the trash can) so I have no updated pics to show off. But here's the haps anyway-. Michael is liking his new glasses, which is great cuz like them or not, he needs them. He's wearing an eye patch a couple hrs a day too. Pirate Michael strikes again. Feb 8, 2010. Good Bye 4th Ward, Hello Shoultes Ward. We are now the proud members of Shoultes Ward. Since we heard about the ward boundary changes and creation of an additional ward to our Stake we've been excited for the change. It's fun to try new things and get to know new people. Mar 25, 2011. These are our pre-ride photos. I didn't take my camera with me on the ride, so this is all I've got :) Brian tackled 47 miles on the Granite Falls loop and it was a tough ride! I went the 34 mile Stanwood loop w/ 3 friends, plus 14 miles of another loop. So 48 miles! I was exhausted for sure, but felt pretty good for just riding a half century.
