The King Family: January 2010
http://michelleandclayking.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Saturday, January 23, 2010. So what is Ashlyn up to these days as a 4 month old:. Smiles when she sees mom and dad. Coos, especially when she is getting her diaper changed. Prefers to suck on her thumb rather than a pacifier. Will occasionally clasp both her hands around her bottle, but is not able to hold it on her own yet. Will settle down when she is hungry and sees that mom or dad is making her a bottle. Still wearing size 0 to 3 month size clothes. Is beginning to be more okay with tummy time.

The King Family: Christmas Eve
http://michelleandclayking.blogspot.com/2011/01/christmas-eve.html
Saturday, January 1, 2011. We went to our church's Christmas Eve service as a family. This is a tradition that our family intends to continue because of the focus that it places on the true meaning of Christmas. We then came back to our house and did stockings before putting Ashlyn to bed. As Ashlyn tore off each piece of wrapping paper she would give it to Clay. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). The King Family: November 2009
http://michelleandclayking.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Saturday, November 28, 2009. We celebrated our first Thanksgiving as a family of three! We have so much to be thankful for this year: Ashlyn and her healthy development, our families, our jobs, our home, our lifegroup, and so, so much more. The day was filled with lots of food and family. We had lunch with my family and dinner with Clay's. Tuesday, November 24, 2009. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. The King Family: December 2009
http://michelleandclayking.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Thursday, December 31, 2009. Christmas takes on a whole new meaning when you have a child. We spent Christmas lunch with Clay's family and then drove across town to spend Christmas dinner with my parents. Here is a picture of Ashlyn in her Christmas outfit. The Santa hat says "Santa's little helper." It must have gotten turned around before the picture was taken. Our little family at my parent's house. Tuesday, December 22, 2009. The King Family: May 2010
http://michelleandclayking.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
Monday, May 3, 2010. As the bluebonnets began to bloom I got excited about taking Ashlyn's picture in them. Little did I know that it would be quite an adventure. At first Ashlyn was not a fan of the bluebonnets. She would just cry when I set her down on the blanket. I tried to show her that the flowers were not going to hurt her. However, she was not convinced. So we decided to try another spot to see if it would prove any more successful. And it was! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

The King Family: Santa
http://michelleandclayking.blogspot.com/2010/12/santa.html
Wednesday, December 29, 2010. Here is Ashlyn's first picture with Santa. Notice how I am in the picture as well, that is because Ashlyn was not willing to sit in Santa's lap. She was clinging to Clay and screaming when he tried to get her to sit in Santa's lap. Thus we settled for a mother-daugther picture with Santa, instead of a screaming Ashlyn with Santa. The King Family: October 2010
http://michelleandclayking.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, October 3, 2010. Prior to this weekend, Ashlyn has only taken a couple of steps at a time before falling down. However this weekend she has started walking with arms outstretched between Clay and I. Enjoy! Saturday, October 2, 2010. This year has flown by! It has been filled with an abundance of love, sleepless nights, excitement when she reached a new developmental milestone, sickness, laughter, tears, and joy. My understanding of God's love for us has grown so much just since becoming a mom.

Tuesday, October 20, 2009. I am trying to soak up and enjoy every moment that I have with Ashlyn. I know that she will not be this small for long. In fact, Saturday Clay took her to be weighed at our pediatrician's office and she was up to 6lbs. 7oz. That is a whole pound more than she weighed at 2 weeks. Here is a picture of us from this past Sunday. Wednesday, October 14, 2009. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. A lot on my plate. May 2014 - My Beautiful Big Girls!
