Fine Wine and Flip Charts: Junk Miles
http://finewineandflipcharts.blogspot.com/2010/08/musings-on-junk-miles.html
Fine Wine and Flip Charts. Monday, 16 August 2010. A couple of years ago, back when I was dabbling in the murky world of triathlons (I know, I know.), I used to hear a lot about the concept of 'junk miles'. For the uninitiated, this term relates to mileage that might. Thing is, though, was what felt at the time like a half-decent effort actually little more than the dreaded junk miles? I can feel a definite improvement in my fitness and physique since I started this whole cycling journey - my jeans are l...

Simply brilliant brand | Another flamin' blog
https://anotherflaminblog.wordpress.com/2007/11/14/simply-brilliant-brand
Another flamin' blog. As if you're interested. About Another flamin’ blog. I received a lovely piece of direct mail yesterday. And it’s not often that those words pass my lips (or my fingers). Here’s a picture of it. It’s from one of my favourite brands – Rapha. 8211; which makes fantastic, top quality cycling clothing. So it’s a bit of a niche thing. But I’m into my niches. Is this sounding a bit sad? Only then are a few of the products presented. Cool. It even smells great. November 14, 2007 at 11:11 pm.

Pintagram: a new social social | Another flamin' blog
https://anotherflaminblog.wordpress.com/2014/04/16/pintagram-a-new-social-social
Another flamin' blog. As if you're interested. About Another flamin’ blog. Pintagram: a new social social. First up, pronunciation: not ‘pin’, but ‘pint’. Pintagram. As anyone who follows me. On Instagram will know, I take a fair few pics of London. I never get tired of it (even if, I’m sure, many of my followers do). It’s a ridiculously obvious thing to say, but London’s an incredible city in a million different ways, and quite a few of them make half-decent snaps. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. You are co...

Book review: Culture Shock, by Will McInnes | Another flamin' blog

Another flamin' blog. As if you're interested. About Another flamin’ blog. Book review: Culture Shock, by Will McInnes. I’m not one for reviewing books, generally. The last thing I can remember reviewing. In fact, was a piece of direct mail from Rapha. And that was more than five years ago! But there are a number of reasons why I feel compelled to offer up my thoughts on Culture Shock. Finally, I genuinely believe that the way businesses run themselves and reward and motivate their people needs to change...

Fine Wine and Flip Charts. Monday, 24 May 2010. What if it's all a big hoax? I was reminded today of this brilliant cartoon, which did the rounds during COP15 last December but is still entirely relevant. Fine Wine and Flip Charts: April 2010
http://finewineandflipcharts.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Fine Wine and Flip Charts. Thursday, 29 April 2010. And on the seventh day. News reaches me that Evans has become an official distributor for Sabbath, the Cheshire-based maker of really rather tasty (and surprisingly affordable) titanium road bikes. But the positive messaging seems to be winning through, if the number of Litespeeds, Moots and Sevens spotted on recent sportives is anything to go by. Be that as it may, all the best to both Evans and Sabbath on what I hope will be a successful experiment.
