Perhaps if we read the Analects linearly, we'd get a much more general sense of unity in the text, but seeing as we are reading them side by side (as we did with the Gospels), we notice the difference more easily. The analects agree are a little hard to read. I had to read the analects a few times to really embrace them. They seem very different at first but as you reread it becomes easier. While yes, a women's body seems to be somewhat more sacred there than in our society, where we are more than happy to parade it around, the hijab also others them.
