Pieces By Lisa: December 2009
http://piecesbylisa.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 23, 2009. Swiss Christmas was a big success for our first year. My friends and I had no idea what to expect. We had a lot of fun, made some money and are planning on doing it again next year. I sold hooded towels, nursing covers and crayon rolls. Below are a couple of my creations. My crayon rolls sold completely out in the first 5 hours, I should have made 100 of them! If you are in the area next year, stop on by! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

Pieces By Lisa: Tiered Dress
http://piecesbylisa.blogspot.com/2011/10/tiered-dress.html
Thursday, October 27, 2011. We had a brand new Walmart open up in the Heber Valley a couple months ago and there was a big bin of patterns on sale for a dollar by the fabric department. I decided I'd give this cute dress a shot. I picked some cute soft corduroy fabric and whala! I was a little worried about the length of the dress, I thought I might need to add another tier. But, it's about the same length as her other dresses and she can always wear leggings/tights underneath. View my complete profile.

Pieces By Lisa: May 2010

Tuesday, May 11, 2010. My newest creation is probably one of my favorites! I was making a dinosaur towel and thought I'd try something different. I found a website. That sells hooded towels and made my version of their alligator. My sister had her baby shower last Saturday so I gave it to her, much to the dismay of my children. Her husband is from Texas and grew up around "gators" so it was very fitting that their little guy have it. I love making these towels because they are so quick and easy!

Pieces By Lisa: January 2010
http://piecesbylisa.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, January 27, 2010. I bought fabric for this bag well over a year ago while still living in Colorado. I've been wanting to put my sewing machine away for awhile and focus on scrapbooking. So I thought I'd better whip out this bag, so that it wasn't lingering on my to do list. I wanted to make it more like a diaper bag, so I made it wider, not as tall and did a foldover. I can't even tell you how far behind I am on scrapbooking. Like, I've only got my honeymoon scrapbooked. It's All In The Bag.

The Ropers: November 2014

Dan * Casandra * Dalin * Braden * Landon. Thursday, November 20, 2014. Lots and Lots of Leaves. Here is Braden, Landon, Gretel, and Joseph. I wish I had gotten a picture of the fort and nests they built. They just had fun throwing leaves, jumping in leaves, and running through leaves. Braden likes to "rain" them on people. Dalin would get big armfuls and throw them over all the kids. They thought this was great fun. Then we had to have leaf fights. This was the best I could get. Links to this post. This ...

Heaps of Laundry: A Good-Bye and a Hello
http://heapsoflaundry.blogspot.com/2011/07/good-bye-and-hello.html
Saturday, July 9, 2011. A Good-Bye and a Hello. We three girls, along with our brother were raised in the Midwest. We all have moved westward and live within 45 minutes of each other, which means we get to do a lot of fun things together. Between our collective 10 kids we're bound to have a few things we can share that would match up with your family. Draw, try out new recipes, and spend time with friends. And being a mom. Natalie: When it comes to great mothering - I am always learning a thing or two fr...

The Ropers: September 2014

Dan * Casandra * Dalin * Braden * Landon. Monday, September 29, 2014. Splash Pad Cousin Fun. The first part of August we had a chance to head back up to Ogden to walk through the Ogden temple open house. We also got to play with cousins. One of the things I really don't like about Vernal is the lack of something like this to do with my kids. The one here in Vernal costs $2 per kid and is not half as great as these two were up by my parents' house. Now they're all looking. There's the little stink. Wednes...
