Rambling woman: November 2005
http://aluceproduction.blogspot.com/2005_11_01_archive.html
And boy can I ramble! Monday, November 28, 2005. Monday, hellish this morning. Couldn't get Al to go to school as A was off with sore throat! Some sore throat. Got back from work to find all beds and wardrobes dismantled! Why are we paying our removal people so much, when A is doing it all? There's nothing I can do except givehim a valium which I don't have. C phoned tonight, her being a nurse said she would get him a flu jab as our doctor has run out and has a four month waiting list! Rambling woman: January 2006
http://aluceproduction.blogspot.com/2006_01_01_archive.html
And boy can I ramble! Tuesday, January 31, 2006. It's official folks, being Billy No Mates is cool! Well, according to my Red magazine which was delivered yesterday. They did a whole article on women who do things on their own. One woman, like me, takes herself to the cinema, toute seule! I have become slightly paranoid about this Robin malarkey. Why would a robin wind up brown bread in a pot next to my backdoor? I began to feel like that woman from 'The Birds' (was it Tippy Hedron? Although, did notice ...

Rambling woman: Catchup!
http://aluceproduction.blogspot.com/2007/09/catchup.html
And boy can I ramble! Tuesday, September 18, 2007. Our house is coming along slowly but surely. We still have the decorators in.I think we've got him booked until 2012! Mind you, if you want a great decorator and you live in Suffolk then he's your man (if you don't mind a long wait). Alice's room is now more or less completely done - all she needs is some pictures on her wall. But her blinds came at the weekend and it all looks wonderful! Here are some before pictures followed by the 'after' pictures!

looking2live: August 2005
http://looking2live.blogspot.com/2005_08_01_archive.html
Wednesday, August 31, 2005. The 3" incision on my leg is healing nicely. It’s uncovered and open to the air at this point. No more need for Neosporin or antibiotics. I even toyed with the idea of taking the stitches out myself next week since my visit to Dr. Braun conflicted with a class in which I was enrolled. Sue at his office quickly offered me a different appointment when I mentioned that idea. Posted by Barbara at 9:34 PM. Links to this post. Tuesday, August 30, 2005. An error in a 2004 allocation ...

http://dizzydaftdays.blogspot.com/2006/07/where-does-time-go.html
Where does the time go? BH,'Happy Allan' has been off work this week and we have been out and about. Also, I have been a busy bee, I have :-. Been for two interviews (more about that later). Seen the Chiropractor twice,. Took some disabled friends to see the Blood Brothers musical at our local opera house - which was fab. Took others to see the War Tunnels. Dizzy Daft Days: Bloody Builders...
http://dizzydaftdays.blogspot.com/2007/03/bloody-builders.html
We are going to have a conservatory built, along with a few other bits done inside the house. I don't want to be involved too much with any of the works. I have put in my request (told BH. What I want) and am expecting/hoping that he will advise the builder who will then come and take over all the planning etc. Well, the estimator. Questions questions questions. Which way do the upstairs floorboards lay! No I don't know which way the upstairs loo pipes run under the floorboards! I was saved when BH.

Dizzy Daft Days: Moody afternoon......
http://dizzydaftdays.blogspot.com/2007/03/moody-afternoon.html
The day wasn't particularly good yesterday weather wise, but as I was on my way home the sun came out from between the clouds and shone onto sea. The view was stunning. Again it's the dark and light that catch me. I joined two photos together for the above, here they are independently. These are gorgeous photos Dizzy. The light is fantastic. But also the colours - they would make a great palette for weaving. hmmm. having ideas. Looking forward to seeing you soon :o). Those are just beautiful photos.

Niddy noddy: July 2006
http://niddy-noddy.blogspot.com/2006_07_01_archive.html
Friday, July 07, 2006. In response to Mu. Request, here are some instructions about making buttons like those in my previous post. With pictures (which should be clearer and larger if you click on them) - "Dorset buttons" and variations. These are the buttons pictured 2nd in my post. You need a blunt-ish darning-type needle (depending on thickness of thread) and a curtain ring, washer . anything similar - to work around/over. (Tho plastic is possibly better for washable buttons). The last stage (A. p...
