Tribuna Tek: CSLA and Visual WebGUI
http://tribunatek.blogspot.com/2012/07/csla-and-visual-webgui.html
Sunday, July 22, 2012. CSLA and Visual WebGUI. I don't like ASPX. I tried both flavours, with and without AJAX. I hate several things about ASPX. Programming in 4 languages (C#, HTML, Javascript, CSS). The worst part of ASP.NET is the 4 language issue. I guess I don't need to explain in detail why it doesn't help to simplify the development process or to make it faster for that matter. No ViewState and only one programming language: C# or VB.NET. This results in applications easier to write:. So I was de...

Random is an understatement...: PnP Final Day
http://bkaraban.blogspot.com/2008/11/pnp-final-day.html
Random is an understatement. Welcome, Bienvenido, Dzieñ dobry, Välkommen, Willkommen, and Bon Bini to my blog. There isn't really any major theme or point, thus the title of my blog. Hopefully you will be amused more often then bored, but what are the odds of that. Have fun. Friday, November 07, 2008. The last few days have been overwhelming - sitting and absorbing all the content really takes everything out of you. Day 3 covered Architecture - Don Smith. And Silverlight which are two interesting approac...

This particular part of the design is really at the heart of my proposed TDD solution. Let me rephrase what I am trying to achieve. I want all of my business object dependencies to be explicit and I want to pass them in through a constructor. That's just my preference. I am aware that there are other ways to inject dependencies. I have mentioned tha...

WPF Validation – IDataErrorInfo Errors From Csla middle tier | Savij

WPF Validation – IDataErrorInfo Errors From Csla middle tier. March 28, 2012 – 2:59 pm. After playing around with this for a while I did figure out that as of at least the latest version of WPF in .Net 4, you can get built in red boxes around controls when errors exist in the middle tier. You have to add a small piece of code to the binding expression in your xaml. Lets say you have a binding expression that looks like this:. TextBox Text="{Binding MyText}" /. Here is the older article for reference].
