Current stop: Hanover, Germany. Tuesday, August 28, 2007. Summer in the country. My dad getting the BBQ ready like pros do: with a hairdryer. He then grilled pork, beef and of course sausages. Hungry after a short bike tour. A Carinthian must-have-seen: Minimundus, the small world where they build the world's most famous monuments in small scale and extremely realistic. Sometimes they even use the original materials to make it even more similar. Here: me in front of the Taj Mahal. The Campanile of Venice.

Current stop: Hanover, Germany. Tuesday, June 12, 2007. Hamburg Hagenbeck, one of the nicest zoos in the world. No comment (you know I like zoos). Mr Croc during his early bath. What the hell where they doing that early in the morning? This funny fish and his look. Mr Shark (he didn't stop for a picture that's why it's blurred). The girls are only there to show the dimensions of the fish - it's ENORMOUS. Must be an Italian elephant (the thing it's trying to grab are spaghetti). The boss, the dad. For the...

Current stop: Hanover, Germany. Thursday, November 01, 2007. The Atlantic coast of New England. This blog post is entirely dedicated to our last day around Boston which we spent by the sea. Here we go. The picturesque shoreline in Rockport, MA. I believed I could fly (but only because the wind was so strong). Motif No. 1" - the most beloved photo object in Rockport. These are required to catch a lobster. If you look closely, you can see the 4 tourists. Mmmmhhh, yummy - lunch like it should be! One of my ...

What tomorrow may bring. If anyone knows please fill me in. Playing instruments with your hands. no instrument required. There's nothing like starting the new year off with moving to Texas, right? 45 days and I'm still here. I have asked myself a few times, "what the (you can fill in the blank with all sorts of words)? But in a funny way (funny haha. It's good, and I can't really explain it. To solidify my stay I am now an official resident (on paper, as I could never claim tru. What else about Texas?

Current stop: Hanover, Germany. Saturday, July 28, 2007. Paris - The last. This was my last time in Paris for now. I don't know when I'll return; on the other hand, it's time for another European city! All I can say about last weekend is: it was exhausting. If you say goodbye to a lot of friends (not me, rather Ayoub) in such a short time, you're definitely short on sleep. A street in St Germain. The wonderful desert after a wonderful lunch in a "restaurant provencal". Invalides and the Eiffel Tower.

Current stop: Hanover, Germany. Saturday, November 17, 2007. Santa Fe and back - Nov 10-11. My last weekend in Colorado - and my target was Santa Fe, New Mexico. Friends had told me how outstanding the town was. Now I wanted to see myself how the American Southwest looked and if it matched my imagination. Could we set a Western movie there or not? Was John Wayne around? Can be visited, the typical Native American buildings in the Southwest. The endless prairie and an endless straight. The next morning wa...
