Thursday, September 12, 2013. Personally, I think a good kick off to the summer (even though it's not officially summer until June 20th) is Memorial Day. We spent this Memorial Day going to the parade in our town. Our nephew Wyatt is part of the town marching band and this was an opportunity to see him do his thang. Then we headed over to the church for the annual ward BBQ. Milo is not a huge fan of loud noise so he spent a lot of the parade with his hands over his ears. I think he got the hang of it :).

So as you can tell, I (Emily) haven't done a whole lot of blogging, but I decided that I would try to do more of it, because it's fun and pretty addictive. The last couple of months have been fun-filled (as you can tell from my pictures). Camping is always a good time, plus we're up here with my cousin's family. Although I do have something to say about the site—railroad tracks 200 feet from your tent makes for a crappy camp spot.
