Too many words to tweet

Too many words to tweet. Reflections on Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Special Rehearsal Edition Script. No spoilers #keepallthesecrets but my comments are probably best read after you’ve read the script book. That is what I would do. I never read about a book or film if I am going to consume it. Even though it is a script I mostly forget this as I read it. Occasionally I would remember but mostly just chasing the next bit of plot distracted me. I think that the prospect of conquering the stage was pa...

December 2015 – Too many words to tweet

https://librarianpetergreen.wordpress.com/2015/12

Too many words to tweet. The brave new world of audio books. I have ventured into unexplored territory – unexplored by me, well trodden by others. The world of the audio book. I have been listening to podcats on my daily commute and sometimes I ran short and I had a long trip on the horizon, so I decided to try an audio book. BTW, the BorrowBox app from Bolinda was excellent. So different to my typical ebook experience. December 5, 2015. 2 Comments on The brave new world of audio books.

Making memories the old fashioned way – Too many words to tweet

https://librarianpetergreen.wordpress.com/2016/06/20/making-memories-the-old-fashioned-way

Too many words to tweet. Making memories the old fashioned way. On my lunchtime walk today I saw a fall of autumn leaves on wet bricks. I see this every year and if the light is right it is eye catching and so I capture with my camera. For the memories (and to share). Here it is. Enjoy. I paid attention and the memories are great, if a little old fashioned. No recording to share 🙂. June 20, 2016. Lung transplant done at home. Reflections on Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Special Rehearsal Edition Scr...

Too many words to tweet – Page 40

https://librarianpetergreen.wordpress.com/page/40

Too many words to tweet. The view from above. I love looking down on cities and towns, and think that you haven’t seen a city if you haven’t gotten above to have a good look. Here are a couple of examples. Two years ago I was in Edinburgh for the first time. We stayed in an apartment on the Royal Mile, explored the Castle, walked the New Town, visited Gladstone’s Land and climbed to the top of the Camera Obscura. From where this picture was taken. June 2, 2013. June 6, 2016. Late to the (online) shop.

Too many words to tweet: June 2016

https://librarianpetergreen.blogspot.com/2016_06_01_archive.html

Too many words to tweet. Monday, June 06, 2016. From Blogger to WordPress. Too many words to tweet. From Blogger and it can now be found at https:/ librarianpetergreen.wordpress.com/. Blogger has been good to me, but writing posts on the iPad has become too difficult with the demise of Blogsy (in which I compose this last post) and WordPress seems to be the logical alternative (thanks Steph). Now I just need to keep up my blogging. Over and out (from here). Links to this post. When your app goes away.

Exploring Libraries, Technology, and the place of the modern School Library. Not at all on topic…. Bull;September 16, 2011 • 1 Comment. I had thought about writing something about the Google vs. Universities lawsuit/scandal on going, but there isn’t much new I can write at the moment, and it has been given pretty good coverage across the Internet already. So, I have decided to go off topic today and give you something short, but still kinda cool. Is it even possible for a teacher to stay abreast enough i...

Slanted

Tell all the Truth but tell it slant -Emily Dickinson. On our actual anniversary, Steve and I shared red velvet cupcakes with the kids (our wedding cake was red velvet) and I gave Steve this card by Nikki McClure. It's called 'Seal.'. An Impending Birthday Party/The Party is Over. I started writing this post about The Bairn's upcoming birthday:. The Bairn is turning six this month. (How can it be? Wasn't he just born? Soon he'll be in college! We're Not Keeping Up with Anyone! I added a note on all the i...
