Wednesday, June 20, 2007. It was a nice 24-hours without kids. Everyone should treat themselves to something like that occasionally. I understand exactly what you're saying. As much as we love our children, a break (even if it's just for a few hours) is necessary. Being away rejuvenates us to where we are better parents. Sunday, September 24, 2006. I love this time of year. The leaves are changing and falling. The weather is cooler. The days are getting shorter and the nights are getting longer. I love everything about fall. Now if I can get my body temperature in check with the season, I'll be doing good. I have " hot. Flashes" all the time. I don't get it. Sunday, March 18, 2007. Our Church is in the middle of another construction job. We are adding onto the educational wing already. We are overflowing with kids and more space is desperately needed. What a good problem to have. We just didn't think it would be this soon. I've been battling a head cold for several days. It's draining all my useful energy so I'm ready to close this post.
