Yesterday was my first mother's day :) Spent it with my husband and baby boy and went to see my sister in law graduate from grad school. Had a yummy ten course dinner at the new Four Sisters Restaurant. With the fam. Got a great gift from Noah and Mike too. Tiring but great weekend :). Wednesday, May 6, 2009. For Jayden's 4th Birthday on December 12, we went to Jammin' Java, a music club/cafe in Vienna, VA to watch Agent 23 Skidoo who sings positive hip hop for kids. Noah has been dancing lately, but he was a little shy at the show. It was great fun for all! Definitely recommend it if you are looking for birthday party ideas. Jammin' Java in Vienna, VA . . . Thursday, November 5, 2009. 1 cup vegetable oil. 1 (15 ounce) can pumpkin puree. 2 teaspoons ground ginger. 1 teaspoon ground allspice. 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon. 1 teaspoon ground cloves. 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour. 2 teaspoons baking soda. 1 1/2 teaspoons salt. 1/2 teaspoon baking powder. 1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease two 9x5 inch loaf pans. 4 Bake in preheated oven until toothpick comes out clean, about 1 hour. View my complete profile.

So yesterday I made a classic spaghetti and meatball dish for my son's 2 month b-day dinner (for Arlene and me of course). This was my first time using a panade, which is an Italian technique of using milk and bread to form a paste which helps stretch and moisten ground meat. It's great for meatballs or making well-done burgers without drying out the meat. Here's the recipe below:. 1 onion, chopped. 2 garlic cloves, smashed.
