Tempeh delivers 16 grams of fiber in a mere 4oz. I ate some for dinner on a whole wheat bun. It was really good. Thank you Jen from Outreach for encouraging me to try this new food. We had a great time pushing the spinach into the hole in the Cuisinart and watching the pale beige goop turn green. ( visualize whirled peas)I ate it with carrot sticks and Ant used his fingers . In my blood is at an unhealthy level. I promised myself that by the time I go back to the doctor in October, my blood cholesterol counts will be many points lower. Here's a sample plan;. First thing in the morning I will drink a cup of OJ with a tablespoon full of Psyllium. Half and half and a half an apple chopped. 3pm a few more almonds.
