Life and love in the south. Sunday, April 1, 2012. My new craft obsession is redoing trays. I have only redone two completely but I have about 6 hanging out waiting for their makeover. The first one I made over had a rooster in the center. I sanded it down, sprayed painted it and used stencils and acrylic paint to hand decorate it. I sanded it when all finished to give it shabby chic look. It lives on my coffee table now. Trust me when I say it was ugly before. I can't wait to do more. Pink makes me happy.

Life and love in the south. Sunday, January 31, 2010. Yesterday we spent to day inside watching movies and the Duke basketball game. Since it was Colton's first snow we wanted a few pics of him in it. We spent about a half hour getting him dressed in about 6 layers. We then dressed ourselves and headed out. We were outside with him for all of 30 seconds but we got some pictures. Needless to say it will be another day of movies and staying inside with the fireplace on full blaze.
