Charlie's House
Thursday, 8 March 2012. No longer with us. I'm sad to announce that the gorgeous Charlie is no longer with us. He was already half deaf and half blind (with glaucoma in one eye), but he then had an abscess start growing under his chin. It did not respond to treatment, and was only going to get bigger and cause a lot of suffering and unpleasantness. The vet said it was the best thing for him. Links to this post. She steadies her arm. Waits until her sight is in order. And releases her finger. Watching the narrow piece zoom to it's destination. Hoping she's on target. Knowing she's hit her mark. Zoe enjoys shooting arrows with her bow. She only shoots at a target, such as this homemade one she made on the back of a pizza box.

But I couldn't resist.we took the boys to a trunk or treat the other night at a friend's church and had a great time! They got to hear stories, eat hot dogs, go on a hay ride and of course, trick or treat. Both had a lot of fun and looked too cute! The fireman helping the horse. I know their eyes are closed, but they are both smiling :).
