Cosmos and Cotton: May 2014
http://cosmosandcotton.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
My Bouquet of life with kids, making, baking, sewing, crochet and all things vintage ofcourse. Sunday, 25 May 2014. This and that . I just quickly wanted to pop in today to say HELLLOOOOO. It has been so wet and grey here in the North of England, but if I am honest, I have rather welcomed it. I am not sure how I will feel by Thursday with half term upon us and kids at home being cooped in, but for now it has been rather fun and mostly quite chillaxing. Wander into your garden and look for a weed called a...

http://cosmosandcotton.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
My Bouquet of life with kids, making, baking, sewing, crochet and all things vintage ofcourse. Sunday, 22 December 2013. The last days to Christmas. Yesterday afternoon the family all rolled up their sleeves to make our traditional marzipan for the Christmas cake. Everyone chipped in and helped, its become a bit of a tradition and we always use this. Recipe that is both fool proof and delicious. I wish each and everyone of you and your families around the world a very magical Christmas filled with laught...

Cosmos and Cotton: November 2013
http://cosmosandcotton.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
My Bouquet of life with kids, making, baking, sewing, crochet and all things vintage ofcourse. Friday, 29 November 2013. Weekly Bake - Victoria Sponge with Sugar and Spice. And all things nice. This week we celebrated our god-daughter's birthday and I figured a celebratory meal followed by a vanilla sponge with pink icing would do the trick for a girl who loves everything pink. My Bouquet of life with kids, making, baking, sewing, crochet and all things vintage ofcourse. Tuesday, 2 September 2014. So, to stop the flow of tears, I am swiftly moving on to something a little more cheerful, yes my Mandala. I must confess that I am now officially in the habit of leaving this to the last minute so I will endeavour to start this a little earlier next month. This months mandala was the Daisy Centre Mandala Square. Honestly I just LOVE LOVE LOVE everything about this show! If I am hones...

My Bouquet of life with kids, making, baking, sewing, crochet and all things vintage ofcourse. Thursday, 2 October 2014. September saw so many beautiful things including a Mandala. Into a cushion and I must say that I am rather pleased with the outcome. It has been my intention for a while to make a ripple blanket, but seeing that I still haven't managed to get around to it, this seems to at least satisfy a small part of that chevron urge, for now anyway. Oh my it was really spectacular! Lets just keep t...

Cosmos and Cotton: Sew and Tell
http://cosmosandcotton.blogspot.com/2014/08/sew-and-tell.html
My Bouquet of life with kids, making, baking, sewing, crochet and all things vintage ofcourse. Saturday, 9 August 2014. So as promised a quick sew and tell, the truth is that if I had my way I would have my bottom firmly screwed down in front of the sewer for a good few hours a day, but hey somehow life gets in the way, but its not all bad. A few weeks ago, I spied a fabulous looking magazine on no other than the very lovely Daisy. This months issue comes with a pattern for a rather lovely little tunic, ...
