Life at The Place. Monday, October 18, 2010. Clay's week didn't end as good as it started. Here is the X-ray of his collarbone showing the break. To fix the bone the doctor made an incision, put the bone in a clamp, spread the bone back apart until they fit back in place then put a plate with six screws in it to hold it. Life at The Place. Saturday, October 9, 2010. The New Hunting Season. This is the Big Daddy Camphouse. We added the porch and bunkroom to the camp. You can not imagine how hard it is to build a room that is not square in any way. It is especially difficult to hang paneling and no sheet fits correctly. Other than that it is very well built and tight. October 9, 2010 at 1:07 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Man in the Moon. Jared, Amanda, Jackson and Hutch. Life at The Place. Tuesday, July 6, 2010. Nate is quite handy with the grill. We went to the Kansas City Zoo with Anna. She reminded us of the Chapman Flamingo pose. Clay and I have a pose of our own.we call it the Giraffe Tongue. We went to see the Royals play the Houston Astros. They won and we even got on the big screen. We were too busy doing YMCA to take a picture of it though. Nate and Anna enjoying the Game. Clare got her photo with Slugger the Royals mascot. We saw deer, antelope, lots of prarie ...

The Hampton Family: December 2010

http://thehamptonings.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html

Jeremy, Laura, Dylan, Hensley and Daisy too. Tuesday, December 14, 2010. Some houses try to hide the fact. That children shelter there. Ours boasts of it quite openly. The signs are everywhere. For smears are on the windows,. Little smudges on the doors;. I should apologize I guess. For toys strewn on the floor. But I sat down with the children. And we played and laughed and read. And if the doorbell doesn't shine,. Their eyes will shine instead. For when at times I'm forced to choose. I mean, seriously.

The Hampton Family: August 2010

http://thehamptonings.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html

Jeremy, Laura, Dylan, Hensley and Daisy too. Tuesday, August 31, 2010. Dylan has figured out how to open the fridge. I walked in on this yesterday…. I asked what he was doing. He said, "I drinkin' juice, momma.". Saturday, August 28, 2010. Dylan loves to read, but usually he likes us reading to him. So when he sat down and read to me I was shocked. And very impressed. Even if every page does sound the same. :). The "I love momma" song. Friday, August 27, 2010. Perhaps. My money's on Anna. :).

The Hampton Family: April 2012

http://thehamptonings.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html

Jeremy, Laura, Dylan, Hensley and Daisy too. Sunday, April 8, 2012. MOPS Easter Egg Hunt. Sunday School Egg Hunt. Gran's Easter Egg Hunt. Hunt at Hunny's. (The after party.). We also made some Easter Egg Cupcakes. Weird? Yes, but the kids enjoyed them. These were fun, but such a mess to make. Mine overflowed and caught fire in the oven. Apparently you're not supposed to overfill the eggs…the instructions say that if you read them. I got the recipe here. A close up. I'm showing you the pretty side.

The Hampton Family: May 2011

http://thehamptonings.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html

Jeremy, Laura, Dylan, Hensley and Daisy too. Friday, May 13, 2011. If you know me you know I love crafts. I love making things. Crappy or cute, it's just good fun. So lately I've been forcing my love of craftiness on my children. They really seem to enjoy the messes we make. Hensley's more or less just along for the ride, but Dylan gets a big kick out of it. He says,"Look, I did it! And "That was really really fun, mom! Bigger mess = more fun. He made one for all of his friends. Hens in her marker smock.

The Hampton Family: September 2012

Jeremy, Laura, Dylan, Hensley and Daisy too. Saturday, September 15, 2012. A million pics of the fun we had a few weeks ago. The obligatory beach photo. :). Which one does not belong? We're sisters, did you know? Dad and I won the award for best meal. Winning. It's what we do. Mom and Jared won the dessert category. At the end of the week everyone votes on their favorites, the votes are tallied (by trusted, non biased individuals) and a winner is announced. It's definitely a vacation highlight. While at ...

Jeremy, Laura, Dylan, Hensley and Daisy too. Sunday, November 7, 2010. One hat, two hat, pink hat, blue hat. Fun fact: Both Hensley and Dylan are 10mo in these pics. The Hampton Family: June 2011

http://thehamptonings.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html

Jeremy, Laura, Dylan, Hensley and Daisy too. Tuesday, June 7, 2011. For this one we used jars of varying sizes, filled them half full of vinegar, added a few drops of food coloring, then sprinkled with glitter (which turned out to be pointless b/c you couldn't see it). Then we added a good squeeze of dawn, gave it a little swoosh and mixed in a heaping teaspoon of baking soda. And voila, watch the bubbling begin. He had to touch it. Next we made lava lamps. This craft I found online, here. The kids helpe...

Life at the Pepper's

Life at the Pepper's. Saturday, July 18, 2009. We just got back from the beach and had such a great time! It was a spur of the moment trip but we are so glad that we decided to go. Brian and I really didn't know what to expect by taking a 20 month old to the beach, but we learned quickly that it looks like we may have a little "beach bum" on our hands! It was crazy how wired and excited she was to be there. Having a tea party in the baby pool. Olivia and Daddy on the balcony. Thursday, June 18, 2009.
