Ellie Mae started soccer last week and it overlapped with softball for two weeks…so we have been so busy going back and forth between both sports….last night was her first soccer game! She is on the Rams….light blue….So fun…we look forward to watching her play soccer this summer! Last night was her last softball game! She had so so so much fun playing softball and making great friends!

July was full of fun things.we started off with our mini staycation where we went up to Motley, MN to visit Grandpa and Grandma Larson and had so much fun.Ellie learned to tube by herself behind a boat and Ryleigh got brave and actually swam in the lake. We really tried to hit home this Easter about the true meaning of Easter. We spent time devouring the story of Jesus dying on the cross and the reason He rose from the grave. Monday, October 27, 2008. We are ready for winter! Fire wood is stacked, chimney is clean, and Joseph loves his Choo-Choo snow boots. It's beginning to look as though Germany may not happen until the Spring, although we could be asked to leave in the coming weeks (as Mike reminds both himself and me). Today Daddy surprised Joseph with a brand new BIG truck. This entry is about 'New Love' ;). Fast food Drive through. An after dinner drive. Deliveries in the Rear? But Trucks Don't Sleep! For Our Little One.

Sunday, October 21, 2007. These past couple of weeks we have kept busy with chopping wood and snow. Yep, it’s officially that time of year where wood and snow are a big part of our lives…at least for the next 6-7 months. Mike has been busy every weekend collecting and splitting our wood (with an ax! Colorado weather is very funny. Today it’s 18 degrees outside, with about 7 inches of snow and 72 inside. Thursday, April 17, 2008. Walk Before you Run. Well, my May prediction has proven to be wrong. On April fools day he walked from the middle of the living room to the couch…TWICE. And, for his April fools joke, he didn’t walk again the rest of the day! 8220;April fools you thought I was going to walk! Later that day our neighbor, Vic, brought his tractor over. Friday, May 23, 2008. This month was full of triumph and trials. Hmmmm…bad news or good news first? Let’s start with the bad and end on a good note. In a nutshell, Joseph has been sick with an ear infection and flu. The flu had us in the ER all-night twice, but he is now fine. Friday, October 24, 2008. Joseph recently got glasses. He has a double stigmatism. His right eye is worse than his left eye. The doctor says wearing glasses will help his eye development.
