That's next week Wednesday. The piles of boxes are rising, the clutter is descending (hopefully) and the apartment is looking pretty bare as it reverts from being a home to being a house. It is very strange to see all your belongings in boxes - and as you start to dig it out there seems to be more and more stuff,.

On our recent visit to America we were privileged to spend some time in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and had a chance to see first hand some Amish farms and learn more about the Amish lifestyle. I must say this has always fascinated me; how a group could maintain their traditions over hundreds of years, living in the 21st century where the rate of change is now at fever pitch.
