The Country Homemaker: 1000 Gifts Devotional
http://thecountryhomemaker.blogspot.com/2014/12/1000-gifts-devotional.html
Wednesday, December 3, 2014. I read Ann’s book, One Thousand Gifts. When it first came out and the main premise, being thankful for. I really do not care for Ann’s style of writing. I respect her gift of writing, and I am certain for every person like me, there are two or three who love her style. For this reason though I was hesitant to get this devotional when I already have the One Thousand Gifts book. But I am. Did you have a chance to read this post on her blog. God can do, but that He. Im 53 and ve...

The Country Homemaker: In Need of an Inspiring Adventure?
http://thecountryhomemaker.blogspot.com/2014/11/in-need-of-inspiring-adventure.html
Monday, November 3, 2014. In Need of an Inspiring Adventure? Close your eyes, Ela of Parne. Close your eyes and you will see. Ela Roeh of Parne doesn't understand why her beloved Creator, the Infinite, wants her to become His prophet. She's undignified, bad tempered, and only seventeen- not to mention that no prophet of Parne has ever been a girl. Worst of all, as the elders often warn, if she agrees to become the Infinite's prophet, Ela knows she will die young. Will you be my prophet? Me too, Melanie!

The Country Homemaker: July 2014
http://thecountryhomemaker.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, July 31, 2014. So, the Brewers won yesterday, which was a happy thing for me. They have been in first place in the National League since the beginning of the season, except for a very brief time mid-season when they were tied for first. Or The game is almost on. Just everything. It truly is America’s game, our national pastime, and my love affair with it couldn’t have come at a better time. Thursday, July 24, 2014. It’s so much easier—for me—to blog when the thoughts are alrea...I know a lot of...

The Country Homemaker: A Red-Letter Day
http://thecountryhomemaker.blogspot.com/2014/12/a-red-letter-day_2.html
Tuesday, December 2, 2014. Today was truly a red-letter day. There was only one nagging thought as the day aged, the one lab reading that seemed concerning. But, I just had to pause in the wonder of the moment when my doctor emailed me late in the afternoon already with the news that labs indicated it was just a deficiency I can begin to manage. Needless to say, it was a day to be treasured. December 6, 2014 at 1:25 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Wisconsin, United States. View my complete profile.

AnneSee3: Five Thousand Three
http://annesee3.blogspot.com/2015/03/five-thousand-three.html
Trying to say things with grace. Tuesday, March 3, 2015. Hundred and fifty dollars was the price quoted for window treatments for the first floor of our new home. When I told the salesman that five thousand three hundred and fifty dollars was too much for me to pay for what were, undoubtedly, lovely window coverings, he dropped the price to four thousand two hundred and eighty dollars. And he called it a sale. What do you have on your new windows? Tuesday, March 03, 2015. View my complete profile. Let's ...

AnneSee3: Pushing her walker on wheels,
http://annesee3.blogspot.com/2014/07/pushing-her-walker-on-wheels.html
Trying to say things with grace. Saturday, July 19, 2014. Pushing her walker on wheels,. And breathing oxygen through a tube, the older woman passed through the doors to the clothing store saying,. 8220;Margaret is in a bad way. She didn’t pay attention to what her body was saying, or do what was right for it. Now she. . .”. So I stayed on the bench waited for my shopping companions and wondered—what. Does this woman pushing a walker consider to be ‘a bad way’? Saturday, July 19, 2014. What a mess I was.

http://annesee3.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Trying to say things with grace. Thursday, February 12, 2015. They tell you he is off the heart lung machine,. And your heart relaxes a little bit. It slows down some. The adrenalin coursing through your veins backs off. Your toes let go of the bottom of your shoes. You find your socks are kind of crumpled under the balls of your feet. You did not realize how hard you had been holding your metaphorical breath. You breathe now, physically and metaphorically. The open heart surgery went well. One has babes...

AnneSee3: The pastor is calling for a new kind of prayer
http://annesee3.blogspot.com/2014/04/the-pastor-is-calling-for-new-kind-of.html
Trying to say things with grace. Saturday, April 5, 2014. The pastor is calling for a new kind of prayer. It is the same new kind of prayer I was called to at the church I went to two years ago. When I attended that church, I was encouraged to a new kind of teaching—the same new kind of teaching I had been encouraged to at the church I had gone to three years before. Are teachings sent to churches in rotation? Do gentlemen sit in room somewhere and say,. This year Northern will do this prayer exercise.
