New baby, new parents, new stories. Biscuit Visits the Zoo. Posted in daily life. Sorry for the radio silence. Seriously, mucho apologies. I’ve been picking up some extra hours at work which means that my prime creative time (when she’s asleep for the night) has been taken up with work (so as to minimize impact on her). New baby, new parents, new stories. A Very Biscuit Easter (14 months). Happy Easter, everyone! This is Biscuit’s second Easter outside the womb, and she wowed us with some really beautiful portraits. Things were pretty quiet at home until Easter rolled around. Then things got CRAZY. We went to the Easter Vigil at our church, and Biscuit was a CHAMP (not to mention well dressed). Followed by … a trip to New York! So here are some photos and notes! You are a wonderful father! She played with Nana. It was a...
Birth Story | Life of Biscuit
https://lifeofbiscuit.wordpress.com/birth-story-2
New baby, new parents, new stories. My mom gave birth six times. Number five was assisted into the world by a midwife, and Mom always said that, by far, was her best birth experience. I always remembered that. Six weeks before I got married, I helped my best friend birth her fourth child at home with midwives. Being a part of that precious, unrepeatable moment in time made me realize that when the time came for me to give birth, my first choice would be a home birth. At the time, only Riverside Midwifery.

New baby, new parents, new stories. Posted in daily life. So our little princess had a great Halloween. She picked out her dress herself at a fine costuming establishment called Target on Halloween morning, because it’s been that kind of year, and we went around the block with some neighbors that we met over the summer at the pool. You know what I loved about the whole experience? You know how odd it is when snow shuts down a town for a couple days, and no one can get out? There’s something special...

LWF} Fulton Has Left The Building. Welcome to part four of my sporadic series ‘Life With Fulton’, where I detail the ins and outs of caring for a child, or children, with Spinal Muscular Atrophy. If it’s an unfamiliar building or museum, I need to research entrances and elevators. Even a meet up at a regular playgrou...I can’t be sponta...

So when I read an article talking about assigning musical notes to each amino acid in different proteins to create a melody I was beyond thrilled!

Jason Aldean made my year by coming to town and bringing his friends, Lauren Alaina and Luke Bryan. Lauren Alaina opened with a few songs. She also reappeared later in the night to sing the Kelly Clarkson part of Don't You Wanna Stay. She sounds really good live. Most of the others were very blurry. Links to this post.
