Life on the Open Road: April 2015
http://lifeontheopenroad.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Life on the Open Road. The continuing adventures of a fulltime RVer. Saturday, April 25, 2015. More of Arches and Canyonlands. While in Moab, I spent a day in the Island in the Sky section of Canyonlands NP. From the end of the road, Grand View Point, you get a good view of Monument Basin. And you can see the White Rim Road down below. You can also see why they call it the White Rim. Zooming in on some of the "Monuments.". This is the view from the Green River Overlook. Life on the Open Road: August 2014
http://lifeontheopenroad.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Life on the Open Road. The continuing adventures of a fulltime RVer. Tuesday, August 26, 2014. I See the Pacific Ocean! After flying back to Seattle, I left our heavenly spot in Gig Harbor and headed over to the WIN gathering at the Quinault Casino in Ocean Shores, WA. We parked right along the beach. It's too bad the weather wasn't good most days, but we still had a great spot. This is the view looking towards the ocean on a good weather day. Looking out my back bathroom window, I can see the water!
Life on the Open Road: Moving On to Watertown
http://lifeontheopenroad.blogspot.com/2015/08/moving-on-to-watertown.html
Life on the Open Road. The continuing adventures of a fulltime RVer. Friday, August 7, 2015. Moving On to Watertown. On the way to our next stop, Watertown, NY, Phil and I stopped to see Fort Ontario, near Oswego, NY. It's really hard for me to pass by any fort. Fort Ontario was built in 1839, replacing the British fort destroyed in the War of 1812. Wandering around, we could walk through the inner and outer walls that formed a strong protection from the enemy. This is where the noise was coming from!
Life on the Open Road: The Rest of Palmyra - LOTS to Do!
http://lifeontheopenroad.blogspot.com/2015/08/the-rest-of-palmyra-lots-to-do.html
Life on the Open Road. The continuing adventures of a fulltime RVer. Sunday, August 2, 2015. The Rest of Palmyra - LOTS to Do! I raced back to the WINs from my father's place in PA because I just knew they would be going to see Watkins Glen the first day they were in Palmyra, and I really didn't want to miss it. It's a long trip from where we were staying, but definitely worth it. The view from the parking lot is pretty nice. Some you get to walk under. There's green foiiage everywhere. And then - the bi...
Life on the Open Road: Arabia Steamboat - The Ultimate Rusty Stuff!
http://lifeontheopenroad.blogspot.com/2015/05/arabia-steamboat-ultimate-rusty-stuff.html
Life on the Open Road. The continuing adventures of a fulltime RVer. Tuesday, May 19, 2015. Arabia Steamboat - The Ultimate Rusty Stuff! Our next stop was Kansas City, where we went to the Arabia Steamboat Museum. On its last journey, the Arabia left Saint Louis in 1856, bound for Omaha. Ten miles north of Kansas City, she hit a log snag and sank in 15 feet of water. The 130 passengers and crew survived, but the Arabia and her 200-ton cargo were lost to the river. And the stern, including the rudder.

Thursday, March 13, 2014. Back at the ship, they had a few additional restaurants that you could go to other than the normal ones included and the steakhouse. They had a sushi, an Italian and an Asian restaurant. We ate at the Italian restaurant once and it was good, but we loved the Asian restaurant. Went there 3 or 4 times. YUM. La Lair On Wheels. Van camping and traveling in a modified Ram ProMaster. Monday, July 13, 2015. One Long . . . Yawn . . . . . . I said "Au'Voir" to my sister and her hubby near the Saint Laurent River; they were headed to Rhode Island for a sailing adventure and I was headed west to Montana. I had already been through Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota and North Dakota several times in previous years, so I decided to remain in Canada and take the road less traveled, "The Northern Highway". On Lake Superior,...

In Over My Head. Life On The Outer Banks Of North Carolina. To say we're in a precarious situation is putting it mildly. On one side of us is the Atlantic, on the other is the Albemarle Sound. The O list
June 4, 2014. One word that sums up the behavior that has been displayed from me over the past few years in terms of this blog. I teach classes on social media and marketing and tell small businesses/non-profits that blogging and doing things to update it is beneficial, but I, in no way shape or form have been practicing what I preach. The truth is. I update this thing once the guilt of not updating it has taken over. And it seems like that is every six-eight months. Not goodbye, just see you later,.

There were also lots of venders around the square. My Ro...
