living life - one scrap at a time

Living life – one scrap at a time. Basic things about me. Random things about me. The first real book I remember reading was Heidi the summer before I entered the 6th grade. It took me the whole summer to get through it. And I was proud of myself! I also remember that year that my teacher, Mr. Clark, read Roald Dahl’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory . He was an awful tease. Crazy, isn’t it? January 25, 2014 at 8:02 pm. I am NOT a morning person; never have been, never will be! Most mornings are filled ...

Living life – one scrap at a time. Basic things about me. Random things about me. January 24, 2014 at 11:44 am. I don’t think so, but it was ordinary life and as long as I start now or next week or next month I am still capturing that ordinary life. I just need to start – which I am going to be doing this weekend! I am also discovering that I am a storyteller! I’ll be sharing my stories for the next 29 days. I hope you enjoy my journey. Living life – one scrap at a time. Basic things about me. Random things about me. January 24, 2014 at 11:48 am. My relationship with jewelry is intimate. Boy, that really makes it sound like I’m relating to a person, doesn’t it? I have had a love for jewelry since I was a very small girl. I would play dress up and not only slip my feet into Mom’s shoes but I’d don every set of beads I could get my little hands on! The first thing I did was stop and buy a pair and put them on! Living life – one scrap at a time. Basic things about me. Random things about me. Basic things about me. Home: Phoenix, Arizona. I am married to a sports-lovin’ political nut case named Gaylord. I am a mom to Logan, 16. We have a full house with nary an empty corner – really! I love to read and have found my interests in authors to be spreading out recently. I love music and you will usually be able to find me singing to the radio in the car. See that crazy woman in the car next to you? Have a happy day!

Living life – one scrap at a time. Basic things about me. Random things about me. January 24, 2014 at 11:51 am. I am NOT a morning person; never have been, never will be! It is especially difficult during the winter when the sunlight is weak until way later in the morning. I was a makeup diva! And, of course, I was totally accessorized, too. I am blessed with a wonderful husband that more often than not drags himself out of bed to make sure I have breakfast and lunch to take with me to work. And late...

life, scraps & ink

Life, scraps and ink. Bittersweet [house before and after photos]. We sold our house in 24 hours this week after receiving 4 offers. Im still trying to comprehend it. Its bittersweet for us. This was our first house, and where Philly was born. We also put SO much work into this house - blood, sweat, and tears. Im excited for the next adventure in house ownership, but will be sad to say goodbye to Velvet Leaf. . Who we highly recommend. . Kitchen Before - 2011. Kitchen After - 2016. Kitchen Before - 2011.
