Seasoning: mustard,urad dhal,channa dhal,hing,curry leaves. Onion - half or 4 to 5 tblsp. Green chilli - 2. August 11, 2009. Mint - 20 to 25 leaves. Coriander - 10 stems or so. Spinach - a handful. Cumin seeds - about a tsp. Salt - per taste.

Chilli powder - 3 tsp. Salt - 3 tsp. Black pepper jeera - 1 1/2 tsp 1 1/2 tsp = 3 tsp(crushed into fine coarse pdr). Hot oil - 1 big ladle. Sesame seeds - a big handful. January 09, 2010.

Saturday, April 22, 2006. So well.whts surprising is that im actually getting comments from many ppl and really happy about it! I never expected my blog to be read by anyone at all.well so since ive got readers for my blog im sure i have to keep posting regularly now! And which was not thaaat happy but atleast somethin was happenin! We didnt even mind that there were teachers in the bus! Lemme update on things dat r happening her e! Hmm coll still goin on .totally sucks! Tday r coll got cancelled cos of da rains! Hehehits a totally gud thing! Cos actually my model exams r goin on .its somethin like mock exams. Well frm yday itslef it has been raing .but still r coll is extraordinary! So we thought we will have coll. Till nov 18th .

Living in Consciousness Indi(r)a’s Food and Garden Weblog. Idly (Idli, Iddenlu). Idly stand and idly plates, some filled with urad dal. And rice ravva (cream of rice, rice suji). In a ratio of 1:2. 1 tsp of fenugreek seeds. Pinch of baking powder. Idly stand with idly plates (see the photo above). And a vessel with tight lid (suitable to fit idly stand). In just enough water overnight or for at least 4 to 6 hours. Drain the water and keep the drained water aside. And mix thoroughly without any lumps.
