It’s now wrapped up in gauze with a layer of Traditional Chinese Medicine underneath. 2 days, that is how long I have to leave it on without getting it wet. Wednesday, October 21, 2009. Amsterdam, Netherlands (30th-31st July '09). The next destination was vice capital of the world, Amsterdam. It was a waste that we only had 2 days to spend there. Amsterdam is a very beautiful city with wonderful city planning creating a fusion of past and present. The people in Amsterdam are also super friendly, and they speak really fluent English! I set off by foot from my hotel at Chennai to Egmore railway station on the suggestion of the counter staff when I asked how do I get to Chennai airport other than by auto-rickshaw. Before long, I was at the station. The walk there took about 5mins as estimated by my information provider. However, chaos ensued as I was the only Chinese person in the ticketing queue. Every local acted like I did not exist, even the ticketing agent! I dont think so.
