A peek into our life as we try to figure out this thing called parenthood. Thursday, August 1, 2013. This is such a fun stage! Michael is so sweet and learning new things everyday. He's finally learned to crawl and is on the move constantly. We're baby proofing in stages- which may not be the best way to do things. He hasn't gotten into much but does try and pull up on the floor lamp quite often. Weighs 22.10lbs (75%). It's unbelievable that there's another 25% of kids out there. Short and chunky love.

He's so much fun right now. He's still taking 6oz every 3-3.5 hours. Sits in his high chair while we eat dinner. Loves to pet the dogs. Bella will come and nudge his hand to get him to pet her. He's been sickly this month, but it hasn't put a damper on his spirit! My how things have changed! Eats everything. We're trying really hard to give him what were eating with hopes. Of avoiding the whole "Kid Menu" thing for the next 10 years. I don't know why I'm. Obsessing about this. I just want him to eat real, adult food. Not bland, chicken. Not far from walking!

A peek into our life as we try to figure out this thing called parenthood. Sunday, April 7, 2013. We had a very busy Easter weekend. Ben's great-uncle, Mitch, passed away the previous week and he went down to Baton Rogue Friday to spend time with their family and for the funeral. Michael and I headed to my parent's house Saturday afternoon. Ben made it to Carthage late Saturday evening and was able to be there to see what the Easter Bunny brought Sunday morning! Sweet, sweet babies! Fall time = Fun time.
