Tuesday, July 16, 2013. There is nothing funner than Summer Vacations. This year we had the opportunity to go to California. Monday we went to the beach and rode bikes from Venice beach to Santa Monica. Rex didn't know what to think about the helmet. My dad loved going really fast, it was hard to keep up with him but Rex loved it. Stopped for a little picture taking. Trying to teach Rex to long board. Then we made our way down to the beach. Friday, October 31, 2014. Bungee Jumping in Phuket, Thailand. This video explains it all haha. Matt showing the height of the platform that we will be jumping from! Getting strapped in. They wrapped this padding around our leg, then a rope like thing to keep it together. it was soooo tight! It kinda hurt my legs. Saturday, November 1, 2014. After bungee jumping Peter drove us to Khao Lak which was about an hour north of Phuket. We booked a 5 day livaboard which included 14 dives! Loving life with Rebekah, Emily, Jacob and Jane. Over the summer Jane told me she'd like to try gymnastics, so we signed her up and she started in the fall. Yesterday was "camera day" when parents are allowed to come into the gym and take pictures. It was dark in there and she was moving quickly, so you'll have to excuse the "grainyness" of the pictures (I'm still hoping to get a fast lens one day.).
