Light On A Slowly Turning Planet. Monday, November 23, 2009. Cooper's Hawk Harasses Barred Owl. Today Dory and I were walking Chomsky in the backyard, and heard a Cooper's Hawk making a racket. Turns out, the hawk was harassing a Barred Owl! We went quickly back into the house, left Chomsky there, and I grabbed the binoculars and my camera.
