DriftsnLifts: A Pennsylvania Fly Fishing Blog: August 2013

DriftsnLifts: A Pennsylvania Fly Fishing Blog. Monday, August 26, 2013. Between fishing trips over the past several weeks, I've had the opportunity to work on the fundamentals of my golf swing. I spent a substantial amount of time correcting a pesky slice which cultivated a new found attachment to my driver; thus leading me to the concept of confidence. I've been relying on this form of confidence since I was little. It just took until now to understand it. Till next time, tight lines. Check it out on SC.

DriftsnLifts: A Pennsylvania Fly Fishing Blog. Friday, March 29, 2013. Product Review: Rio Gold. Over the course of a number of years, I've experimented with many reels, rods, packs, waders, flyboxes and numerous other fly fishing gadgets. As embarrassing as it is to admit, no matter how fancy and organized my setup was, I always used a mediocre fly line. Before every outing, I have the same routine of double checking every facet of my equipment. Boots? Labels: fly fishing line. Monday, March 25, 2013.

DriftsnLifts: A Pennsylvania Fly Fishing Blog. Tuesday, May 7, 2013. Trout Food for Thought. Artificial or all natural? Before tying though, be sure to turn over a few rocks and take note of the specific nymphs you're imitating as they can vary in color from stream to stream. Below are some pictures from this past weekend on the Little Juniata where we fished this pattern all day. Enjoy! Labels: little juniata sulphur. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). DriftsnLifts: A Pennsylvania Fly Fishing Blog. Tuesday, April 1, 2014. Product Review: Redington Sonic Pro Waders. Hello again fellow fly anglers! Finally, another bug season is right around the corner and I think I speak for all of us when I suggest cabin fever as an understatement. This has been a brutal winter (at least in the Northeast) but I'd by lying if I said the thought of rising fish was ever far from my mind. Flip out tool pocket. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). http://www.driftsnlifts.com/2013/05/the-drakes-are-on.html
DriftsnLifts: A Pennsylvania Fly Fishing Blog. Thursday, May 30, 2013. The Drakes Are On! After a chilly weekend on Spring Creek in State College, PA, we found our way to Yellow Creek (Bedford, PA). Driving down the final stretch of the trip I could see through the trees that the parking lot appeared nearly full. For those readers that know Yellow Creek, you know this only happens once a year. I grabbed the last of the parking spots and was grinning ear to ear! I knew the Green Drakes were on! It has bee...
