Bianca age, vivi age. Friday, October 12, 2012. Nana and Grampy Forbidden City. I realize I have been slacking (a lot) with posts. Like everyone, we are feeling the pressure of fall and winter upon us so we are really taking advantage of the days we can play outside. I also have a couple of BIG birthdays coming up I'm planning! But more than anything, I realize we will have visitor #2 next week and I haven't even finished my posts of our first visit! It is forbidden to walk on the concrete sloped area.

Bianca age, vivi age. Saturday, May 25, 2013. Kids Fest at Festival City. Back some time ago. (March) we went to the Kids' Festival at Festival City. It was a lot of fun and not too hot yet, so the girls really enjoyed it. Bianca was so scared to go down the slide by herself. But a little courage. Bianca loved all the large animals and characters. Veronica - not so much. Posted by The Cisel's. First BDay Party in Dubai. They had a princess party at their house and Bianca and Veronica were both invited.

Bianca age, vivi age. Thursday, February 28, 2013. One of the things my mom wanted to do when she visited was have tea in China. So, on my mom's 6 th birthday, I arranged a private tea tasting in a Hutong in Beijing. A Hutong is an old, narrow alley comprised of homes or businesses. The company we went through was Tranquil Tuesdays. Their website tranquiltuesdays.com. This is us starting out, practicing pouring cold water with a gaiwan. Song Yan teaching mom "it's all in the wrist" with pouring correctly.

Bianca age, vivi age. Thursday, February 20, 2014. School was cancelled a couple weeks ago due to a bicycle race. No joke. I picked B up from school (they start pre school here at 3 years, everyday from 7:45-12:45) and was informed there would be no school tomorrow due to the bike race going through town at pickup. Yes, Vivi. Camel no more. But we arrived in one piece and enjoyed a beautiful zoo. The zoo was practically empty. The girls LOVED it. We were so close to the mountains. We had a lovely picnic ...

Bianca age, vivi age. Saturday, February 22, 2014. The kids were home all this week for "mid term" break. Derek was also in Saudi Arabia. Veronica managed to get a nasty fever and cough for the first 3 days. We were forced to stay home and lay low together. Here's a few things we did. I still have flour and rice on my floors I think. Tent building and tea parties. Bianca takes such good care of her lil sister. We made "nature bracelets" with duct tape while out on a walk. She's quite impressive with them.
