As if I'm looking at you for the first time. What have you become? When did the change happen? Have you always been this way? Feet firmly planted in a lie. You no longer care for the truth. I'm shut within myself, one hand on the lock. Always afraid to put away these memories. I've learned to dress as well as you.

Write as if the hourglass of time had been shatter by the very words you print. Write, it is the heart that aches.

Nothing yet has risen as I ready myself for school. I love to sneak in quietly to watch my daughter sleep. I love to kiss her softly, don’t want to rouse her from the deep. I make my rounds throughout the house, find treasures all around. Don’t know why I put things back in place. They’ll find their home back on the ground. Beep, whir, whistle.
