Lincoln County, Kansas, Historical Museum. Kyne House and other things. More of the Museum. The Entrance to the museum. The bank is finally finished. Many Thanks to Roy Davied for his great work. This is the Cooper Room. Frank Cooper was an artist and a historian who wrote It Happen in Kansas. An example of what was in over 50 Kansas newspapers from the 30's to the 60's. There are over 1,000 original drawings like this at the museum. We are in process of requesting grants to perserve these pages.

The Marshall-Yohe House was built in 1885 is an excellent example of a Queen Anne Victorian home, with several pieces of furniture as well as many fine antiques and original furnishings. The Marshall-Yohe House was placed on the National Registry of Historic Places in 2001. The architect was Henry Casserly and is the Queen Anne architectural design. The original metal parts of the head were from Mike's Pump and Well Service of Ellsworth on behalf of Lloyd and Georgia Prochaska.
