Just another WordPress.com site. June 15, 2015. I know, I know … and other post about kayaking. The big news this time is Lincoln did about 1 mile of our 4 mile trip on his own! And then I think he enjoyed being able to go where ever he wanted to rather than me calling the shots. So he went the rest of the way on his own. It was awesome! Just another WordPress.com site. May 28, 2015. Lincoln and I got to join some friends on a little experiment to see if backpacking with kids is worth the effort. We had a 1.5 year-old, a 3 year old, and Lincoln who is 4. And, just because that wasn’t enough chaos, we added in 4 dogs. It was a blast! We had a great time and Lincoln absolutely loved it! Here is a little video:. December 27, 2014. Pap Pap took Lincoln for his first horse ride when we went to visit for Christmas. Just another WordPress.com site. August 3, 2015. Lincoln and I got to spend a week at the beach with my mom and sisters. We had perfect weather, got to see some college friends, and got to see some sea turtles hatch. He was totally cracking me up with his hands in his pockets. Too bad his eyes are closed! He uses his spending money to by a scorpion at the NC Aquarium. He could spend hours in the waves. I could spend hours sitting under the umbrella watching him draw sea animals in the sand.
