Our trip to Peru was originally planned for the spring of 2012, but was postponed for a year because our hosts and tour guides, Annie Barrett and Steve Scheuerell, didn't spend the summer in Peru in 2012. Saturday, 11 July 2015. Days 1 and 2—Wednesday-Thursday, May 27 and 28. Fred and I began our long travel day with a 7:20 am departure from Salt Lake City and flew to Detroit.
