Color Me Red: February 2014
http://lindsaydaniel.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
Friday, February 28, 2014. Emma and I journeyed down to Mesquite, NV, during the President's Day weekend for a soccer tournament. This was Emma's first out-of-state tournament experience. It was full of fun, triumph, fatigue, sadness, friends, food, and beautiful weather. We left around noon on Thursday, taking Emma's good friend, Annie, with us. I was listening to Gary Schmidt's Okay for Now. We had Sunday off, thankfully, so we went to church in little Bunkerville, NV, and then headed up to St. Geo...

Monday, October 8, 2012. The Sawyerinator turns six. Sawyer started out his birthday as a star on the soccer field with a morning soccer game. Then we came home for pancakes. Later in the afternoon, five of his friends joined him for his Robot Design Academy party. Six Things About Sawyer at 6. 1 He is taking off in his reading ability and reading everything in sight. Maybe there is hope for me to get one bookworm among my children. 2 He loves playing video games, especially Super Mario Brothers.

http://lindsaydaniel.blogspot.com/2014/05/my-mother-taught-me.html
Sunday, May 11, 2014. My mother taught me. My mother taught me. To make the holidays special. To be a great cook and baker. To love music and play the piano well enough to accompany my children. To take trips near and far. To go to my children's music and sporting events. To love the Gospel. Candy card for Nathan's baptism. To go to church every week and wear our best. To do hard things (like having lots of children). To have snowball fights (although I still don't do that). To love and serve. And to TAK...

Color Me Red: December 2012
http://lindsaydaniel.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Saturday, December 29, 2012. A very merry Christmas. We hosted 36 people at our house on Christmas Eve. 18 adults and 18 children. It was crazy. And wonderful. We had Cafe Rio style salads and lots of yummy dessert. My favorite part was gathering in the living room and singing and playing lots of Christmas music. A long-standing tradition) and the Christmas story in Luke 2. With my family on the 27th. Dave took all the kids but Anne to my aunt Laurie's that evening. I left the house for an hour t...4 We ...

Color Me Red: August 2012
http://lindsaydaniel.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Saturday, August 25, 2012. Nathan's looks have been evolving in an interesting fashion, don't you think? Friday, August 24, 2012. He has always loved playing with swords. He was about three years old when he first started stealing butter knives out of the kitchen drawer to use for swordplay. Fencing seems to be a natural extension. We'll be looking to put him in a class this fall.Shall I dream big and imagine him at the Olympics in 2020? You never know with this kid. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Color Me Red: May 2014
http://lindsaydaniel.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
Friday, May 30, 2014. This month has been crazy! Baseball, soccer, end of the year madness and all the regular stuff in our schedule has added up to a month that felt a little out of control. We went on a field trip with Anne's preschool class to the BYU paleontology museum. I can totally remember going there when I was in preschool. We also got to go to the new children's museum at Thanksgiving Point call the Museum of Natural Curiosity. The kids loved it and have been asking to go back ever since.

Monday, February 6, 2012. Today I read this list in the Ensign. 10 Signs of Digital Overload. Slipping away from activities with people to check e-mail or social networking sites. Checking the same sites repeatedly within a short period of time. Spending little time outside. Finding it hard to complete a task such as writing a report without frequently breaking away to check e-mail or unrelated websites. Spending little time in face-to-face interactions with friends. Well, I consider myself called to rep...
