Charlotte gets to go too and is so excited to hang with the big kids. Tomorrow is Calvin's 7th birthday! He also gets to go to the KU basketball game on Saturday night with daddy. Fun! We'll have his birthday party with a couple of friends on Monday since the boys don't have school on President's Day. Life as a mom.

Saturday, March 6, 2010. Today is Carson's due date! Instead of anticipating the arrival our little peanut we spent the day with our little peanut. He will be five weeks old on Sunday. He is now 8 lbs 2 oz and because of his fabulous weight gain, we do not have to go back to the pediatrician until his 2 month visit. Tuesday, June 22, 2010. He would always follow up with "Yep! And Grams is my queen of hearts! They would have celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary this November. His funeral and burial today was so incredibly hard. I already miss him dearly. But I have great confidence that I will see him one day again. I imagine when my time comes to meet Jesus, he'll be right next to Him, with a hug once again! I'm so glad I had 21 fantastic years to know him and love him. And I know he loved me too! Friday, August 14, 2015. Happy Friday, everyone! I don’t think that I’ve needed a Friday this badly in months… maybe even years. These last few weeks have been pure chaos and I’m ready for some semblance of normalcy. Won’t be getting that this weekend, though, as Brian and Jacob will be out of town, but at least I’ll have some downtime with my best girl. And a Sunday dinner at my parents’ house. That ought to recharge my battery and feed my soul a little! And A Little Bit of Everything. For Five On Friday.
