Thursday, April 15, 2010. Every single year, a map is placed in the hallway of the LSU Veterinary school. The senior students' names are typed on a piece of paper and tacked to the side of the map. Then we come along and move our name to the city in which we'll be working or interning for the next year. I've waited to do this for the last 4 years! Seems silly, I know. but it stands for so much more than just moving. It's graduation from vet school. My first ever (real) job! View my complete profile.

Friday, May 28, 2010. Everyday when we pick Mollie up from daycare, we sign her out and pick up her "day sheet". The day sheet has everything on it that she ate, when she slept, etc. On Wednesday, her sheet said she played peek a boo with her blanket and loved it. Later that night, Mollie was sitting in Adam's lap where she proceeded to pick up a dish towel and do this. Tuesday, May 18, 2010. I know I can and now. I teared up tonight.she is growing so fast. Tuesday, December 14, 2010. It's the most wonderful time of the year. Friday, December 10, 2010. Thanksgiving visit to the Farm. This Thanksgiving was spent here in Fayetteville with a combination of Medlocks and Harmons. My mom and brother joined us along with Matt (Uncle Matt #2), Lindsey, and Ava on Thanksgiving Day. Mom and Matt were able to stay for several days. There was alot of yummy food and the girls running around playing with each other is fun for everyone! Mollie, Uncle Todd, and Sue Sue.

Saturday, March 5, 2011. Our good friends, the Hudsons. And the Shofners, have purchased some farmland here in Fayetteville. They are both building homes on this land. We spent some time checking out their land and letting our kiddos run wild a few weekends ago. Mollie LOVED it- she played in the dirt (something she isn't used to) and we even drove through the pasture and saw cows up close! Here are pictures from our day on the farm. Sunday, February 14, 2010. Adam, Mollie, and myself are spending this holiday in seclusion! We are all three sick! Adam and I have sinus infections, coughs, congestion, etc. Mollie has double ear infections and bronchitis! I feel so sorry for my sweet valentine! Adam and I did enjoy a date night last night that included a couples massage, dinner, and a diamond necklace suprise for me! Hopefully, spring will bring less illness for us all! Mollie has experienced a very snowy first few months of life!

Not a good start to my blogs……. July 18, 2011. Today has not been a good day. Kelly, my daughter, lost her dearest friend in a car accident. Her best friend Ella, her cat, was hit and killed by a car out the front of our house. The amount of damage to Ella was such that you would have to wonder whether the woman was speeding. To her credit she rang the number on the tag and told Kel who was devastated and will be for a very long time. I have loaned her Maisie and Lulu (my cats) but poor substitutes….

Take the A train. Lindy on Track 2017. Get ready for the third edition of international Lindy Hop festival - Lindy on Track: take the A train. Two cities - one event. 3 days of workshops and 4 nights of parties (2 in Krakow and 2 in Zakopane). We will travel again by the vintage train from Krakow to Zakopane.
