Monday, March 22, 2010. Babee and Poppy Visit Budapest! We were SO excited to have Babee and Poppy come visit us in Budapest over a week in March! The last time my mom was here was not much of a sightseeing trip - she was helping us move in the first weeks we arrived - so we were so happy to get to show them the city we loved. We had a nice time exploring the rooms and taking in the breathtaking views. We were so happy to share our home with Babee and Poppy and grateful they took time to visit us.

My birthday being in July also gave us a reason to plan an opportunity to see many of our friends while we were in the U.S. We are blessed with MANY thoughtful and loyal friends who drove from all over the state to see us. It's amazing! Me in front of The Louvre. Notre Dame at night! Mom took me to an early birthday dinner at a restaurant with a view of Notre Dame right outside of the window by our table. Saturday, February 28, 2015. Snow Day/ My birthday. On Monday and Tuesday of this week, the kids had no school due to ice. We stayed home and watched movies, played games and cooked. We ventured out into the snow to go to dinner for my birthday. Then Cody made me peanut butter pie for dessert! Thursday, February 26, 2015. Friday, April 17, 2015. We went on a hunt to find this new place I had read about that has bluebonnets AND fossils! We took a short "hike" from our car and turned a corner to a beautiful scene of bluebonnets overlooking a lake. I got my bluebonnet pictures, Annabelle saw real butterflies, and the boys brought home some fossils.everyone was happy. Sunday, April 5, 2015. Monday, July 28, 2014. We took the kids to the Perot Museum.wow! What a great place! So much to see and do and play! We did the Build It Garage exhibit where the kids can build toy cars, rockets and airplanes and then race them. Annabelle's toy car was undefeated.
