Lines near the Lachlan: December 2011
http://linesnearthelachlan.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Lines near the Lachlan. My freelance model railway near the Lachlan river. Friday, December 23, 2011. Merry Christmas and a Happy New year. I would like to wish everyone a safe and happy Christmas. May 2012 bring you all happiness. Tuesday, December 13, 2011. Oh joy of joy's! The concreting is finished, no more shoveling, no more heavy lifting, no more hoping the concrete doesn't go off before final troweling. It also means that the frame and roof will be on the extension for the new year. Oh joy of joys!

Lines near the Lachlan. My freelance model railway near the Lachlan river. Saturday, December 1, 2012. Not a great deal going on. As the title says, my model railway has stalled. Not long after my last post I was drawn back into playing with the trikes again. I had the opportunity to get a trike I have been after for several years I couldn't pass up. Lines near the Lachlan. My freelance model railway near the Lachlan river. Wednesday, February 1, 2012. Not many pictures have been taken, to busy building the thing. Anyway, here are a few. Just after the bathroom demolition. On the left is my trike restoration to-do pile. Site all cleaned up, levelled to with in 3mm and form work assembled for the concrete. The sheet of MDF was used as a square. Then we skip many months and it's lock-up! Looking from the small window. Left pan of the above shot. 5325 a...

Wallarah Creek: January 2012
http://wallarahcreek.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Saturday, January 14, 2012. Long time between drinks. It's been over a year since I last posted as things have been pretty hectic in that time. Still I have managed to finish trackwork in the yard and currently in the process of fitting point motors and started wiring. The DL is ready for the paint shop and I have sourced some decals from Al at AR kits. It will be in the AN livery as will both the EL classes. Posted by Wallarah Creek. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Wallarah Creek: Slow Progress
http://wallarahcreek.blogspot.com/2010/12/slow-progress.html
Saturday, December 4, 2010. Progress is slowly being made on the staging yards of Wallarah Creek. With being on holidays and taking the family down south for our annual pilgrimage to Merimbula, it has left little time for anything else. Also the Christmas decorations took a few days away from the "Creek" and the long list of jobs the wife had given me. Merry Christmas and a happy New Year. Posted by Wallarah Creek. Wallarah Creek: Lloyds 82 Class
http://wallarahcreek.blogspot.com/2012/05/lloyds-82-class.html
Friday, May 18, 2012. I experimented with a flat piece of aluminium but it didn't have the same strength as the angle. With the body mountings fouling the angle, pieces were removed from each corner and filed to suit. Holes were then drilled using the existing chassis as a pilot then secured with the original 10 BA screws. The motor, mounting, couplings and final drives were re-assembled and all re-wired. A small piece of cardboard (yellow) was added to stop earthing. It was then tested.

Wallarah Creek: October 2010
http://wallarahcreek.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Saturday, October 16, 2010. Where it all began. Wallarah Creek began way back in 1998 in a spare back room. This was my first attempt to build a modular layout and as such had no formal planing except for the one in my mind. The layout is based on Wyee which is on the "short north" between Sydney and Newcastle. Why Wyee? Posted by Wallarah Creek. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Married with two boys. Work for NSW government. Lines near the Lachlan. My freelance model railway near the Lachlan river. Friday, January 1, 2016. Back into the model room! I'm back into the model railway and it feels good. During Christmas the bench work in the new extension went in and Munibung is back in one piece and mounted above the new bench work as a second level. The new bench work in the new room is for staging and storage. Pictures were taken before the last piece of Munibung was put up. Saturday, March 21, 2015. The passion is not dead, I...
