While I have always been a huge Debian fan, it is something nice to have the OS come with a few perks. The perks being a large set of friend applications. I also decided to go with K(DE)ubuntu over Ubuntu for the KDE framework. It is a lot prettier (I think) than Gnome and its applications. Another great thing about Kubuntu 9.10, is the built in Wine.
