Sunday, March 4, 2012. I have always loved gift baskets. I love themes, and bringing together items to create an idea. Separately, these items might not seem like much, but bring them together with a common thread creates something entirely new and completely adorable. Since sipping iced tea in a rocking chair sounds entirely Southern to me, I thought it would be a perfect first step to Southernality. An iced tea pitcher. Four mason jar glasses- a nostalgic mix of backwoods and modern style.

Friday, March 11, 2011. I feel like the world is falling apart. Earthquakes, tsunamis, wars, I mean they've been happening for years, but they're all happening at once to everyone. Everyone but us. It's so easy to forget the bad things that happen when its halfway around the world, but what if these bad things come to us next? I'm afraid of what God is trying to tell us. I know in one way or another everything is going to be all right in the end, but it's still a lot to be worried about.

Wednesday, June 22, 2011. Our Day at the Lake. Kyle and I spent his birthday yesterday out on Lake Lanier with the Jones family. Mr. Jones was the band director at the school Kyle student taught at, and he's maintained a close friendship with the family ever since. We had such a great time just floating and chilling. Many goldfish and doughnuts were eaten (mostly thanks to the two kids, Abby and "Wheee-yull"). All in all a great day! Monday, June 20, 2011. Dog meet Dawg: Prince Goes to College.
