What I'm cooking and eating. Peach Crème Fraîche Pie. July 29, 2012. We’ve been dealing with a bounty of peaches from my aunt’s backyard in Davis, CA. This year, the peaches weren’t as amazing as last year’s crop so I’ve been baking them away, tucking them into cobblers and pies. What I'm cooking and eating. January 28, 2012. We recently welcomed a newcomer to our neighborhood: Bacon Bacon. It started out as a food truck (still going strong) and it’s now set up a kitchen that currently serves breakfast. I had the other breakfast sandwich on offer, The Almost Veggie, scrambled egg, broccoli rabe, provolone, aioli, and yes, bacon, on a soft brioche. What I'm cooking and eating. January 27, 2012. I’ve been craving Farina lately. There’s something about that smushy cozy texture that gets to me every couple of years. Excellent with a drizzle of maple syrup and whatever you have in your pantry (pumpkin granola). January 30, 2012 at 06:01. You might like this thing my dad makes called prasad! Not the sexiest salad nor a trendy joint and I don’t care, it’s so good! 2 Kale Salad with Spicy Peanut Dressing from M Café.
